- Traditional Tales - Hansel and Gretel
- Writing lists of our favourite sweets using commas to separate items in a list
- Recap on using 'and' to join words and join clauses
- Writing character descriptions
- Spelling pattern: /r/ spelt 'wr' at beginning of words eg. wrong, write, wrap etc
- Homophone of the week: 'right' and 'write'. Can you write sentences using these words?
Maths
- Ordering numbers and objects from smallest to greatest and greatest to smallest
- Counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and 3s
- Learning the 10 times table
IPC
- Conducting simple investigations
- Exploring sound waves
- Making plastic cup telephones and investigating if the length of the string will impact the quality of the sound
- Exploring ways of making sounds with different objects
