Healthy Teeth - Happy Smiles!

On Thursday afternoon, the children in Year 1 and 2 welcomed Mr Chamberlain, a recently retired dentist, into school.  As part of our IPC curriculum the children learnt about the two sets of teeth that we have, about the different names of the teeth, including their job, and how we can ensure good dental care.  Thank you to Mr Chamberlain for giving up his time to come and visit us.

House Quiz

On Thursday, the Prep School held their annual general knowledge quiz.  The houses selected their team of 5 following some preparation in house meetings.  The teams were made up of one representative for each of years 2 - 6.  The quiz consisted of 45 questions and the houses battled to secure points for their team.  All of the teams did really well but a big congratulations to Highcliffe who were the overall winners.  Well done to our Year 2 representatives, Albert, Andrew, Miles and Bethea for trying really hard.

Young Writers Competition

We are delighted that ALL of our children in Year 1 and 2 have been selected to have their story published as part of the Young Writers competition.  A fantastic achievement - we done everybody!

Trip

Just a reminder that we will be going on our trip to the Arc in Stockton this Friday.  Due to the trip, we will not be having woodland school this week.
