- Using place value charts to show 2 digit numbers
- Comparing objects
- Comparing numbers
- Counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s continuing to start at different 2 digit numbers when counting in 10s
- Identifying the 10s and 1s in 2 digit numbers
English:
- Looking at Traditional Tales, specifically Little Red Riding Hood
- Using capital letters for personal pronoun 'I' and names
- Combining words to make sentences and punctuating these with full stops, question marks and exclamation marks
- Joining words and joining clauses with 'and'
- Starting to use the idea of a 'story mountain' to plan a story
- Homophone of the week: 'knight' and 'night'
