3D Glasses!

This afternoon the children in Year 1 and 2 have been making their own 3D glasses, helping them to understand the 'Knowledge, Skills and Understanding' aspect of the IPC curriculum.

Fun in maths

Year 2 have been practising their maths skills this week using place value grids to identify the tens and ones in a given 2 digit number.  They loved the practical activity and I was really impressed with their efforts.

Forest School

Year 2 have had a super session in the woods today.  The children have been making bird feeders using pine cones, lard and seeds.  Having made the feeders, the children hung them in the woods.
