I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for the lovely cards and gifts that you gave me for Christmas.  It was very kind of you and much appreciated.  I hope you have had a good Christmas and that Santa was kind to you all.  Enjoy the rest of the holidays and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

Teesside High's very own Magic Toy makers!

Well done to all of the children who have completed their Magic Toy maker projects.  I have been very impressed by all of the children's efforts and creative ideas.  We have loved looking at the projects and learning about the different skills that went into each project.  Thank you to all of the parents who have supported their children.

PE Stars!

Congratulations to Leah, Ivy and Matthew for working hard in PE over the last few weeks.  They have won Mrs Bradley's star of the lesson trophy.

Fun in Computing!

Year two had an exciting start to their new computing topic of programming this week, as they were encouraged to have a go at 'tinkering' with some Bee Bots.

'Tinkering' is a computational thinking approach which values playing with new devices in order to find out more.

Miss Lockerbie was very impressed with all of the Bee Bot commands they were able to share after a good session.  

Next week the children will be working on programming specific instructions and debugging if something goes wrong!

Children in Need

A big thank you to you all for supporting the various Children in Need events this week.  We have had lots of fun apple bobbing, nail painting, eating cakes, doing Pudsey crafts, penalty shooting and wearing our fancy dress costumes.  Some of the children were feeling energetic and took part in Mr Griffiths' fitness session at break.  Well done children and thank you to the parents for supporting this very worthwhile cause.
