Born In a Barn

December 2019

We hope you all enjoyed watching us in our Nativity Play.  All children have brought home a DVD of the performance inside their Christmas card.

Christmas Fun Day

12th December 2019
What an exciting Christmas Fun Day we had at school.  We started the day playing Monopoly and Scrabble, enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch, danced at our Christmas Party, collected presents from under the Christmas tree and even met Santa!

Spreading Christmas Cheer

11th December 2019

We went on a very special walk around school today to deliver the cards we had made for members of the School Senior Leadership team.  We remembered to say a very big 'thank you' to them all for all that they do to make Teesside High such a wonderful school for us all.

Christmas Craft Afternoon

9th December 2019

What a wonderful time we all had during our Christmas Craft afternoon.  The children were so excited all morning for our visitors to arrive and spend time with us making some lovely Christmas crafts.  A very big 'thank you' to all the parents and grandparents who gave up their time to come and join us.

Kindness Credit Treat

9th December 2019

We have all tried our very best again this half term to be as kind as we can towards eachother.  Our hard work has paid off as we have achieved enough pom poms to get to the next line in our Kindness Credit Jar.  Our unanimous decision for a treat was to have a warm mug of hot chocolate to warm us up before heading out to play.

Memories of our second half term in Year 2

9th December 2019

As we come to the end of another half term it's time to look back and reflect on all that we have done.  It's been another great couple of months and I'm already excited for more fun and adventures when we return in the New Year!

Christmas Holiday Camp

It is wonderful to see that many children in Year 2 have signed up to join in the fun during our forthcoming Christmas Holiday Camp.  For those who have not yet signed up, or would like to increase their days, we have a few final vacancies for our Christmas Party on Tuesday 17th December and our pantomime trip on Thursday 19th December to see Cinderella at Sunderland Empire.  The children always have a wonderful time during Holiday Camp and gain many valuable skills by participating in activities and trips which are not offered during term time.

Christmas Wishes

6th December 2019

This week we have been thinking about our wishes for Christmas and how some of the most important wishes don't cost a penny but mean so much.  These are now proudly displayed on the Christmas tree in our classroom.
