Doll's Houses

To support out learning about Buildings in IPC, the children have been designing and making their own doll's houses.  They have thought carefully about their interior furnishings, as well as colours and have then had to make the furniture to go in their room using a range of different materials.

We still have a few to finish but here are the first ones to be completed.

The children have now begun the process of evaluating their work using the thinking hats.

Maths in the sun!

What better way to learn about capacity than by measuring the capacity of different containers outside in the glorious sunshine.  The children had to make an estimate first and then practised using the measuring jugs to take their measurements, being really careful to read the scales correctly.

Sports Day Fun!

Last week the children in Pre Prep competed in sports day.  All of the children were fantastic and really entered into the spirit of the afternoon, cheering each other on and trying their best in their races.
